Okay, so it’s been a few days since I turned 20, but goodness, I still can’t get over how awesome that day was, even though we had exams in the morning. Lemme list the ways it became awesome.
- MedChoir sang for me. No kidding. Okay, so they were there in our classroom to promote their Open House, and of course they had to perform one song. But since I have classmates who are part of MedChoir already, they got the rest of the choir to sing Happy Birthday, complete with blending and all, to me (and all the other June celebrants, but hey, I’m the only one in class who was celebrating that day)! Dream come true, to be honest - ever since I heard them in LU I, I’d always wanted MedChoir to sing me a Happy Birthday. :)) (So MedChoir, especially MedChoir 2017, and especially you, Tutti Tanchuling and Franco Macaspac - THANK YOU! :D)
- Free dinner! One of the sororities in med invited some iMed2017 girls to have dinner with them, and it just so happened that it was my birthday! HAHA. Free dinner, and free ice cream, too! :)
- Free party! Since we had our first ever exam in med that day, of course a detox party was in order. Another frat/soro in med organized it, and of COURSE I had to go; it was my birthday and what better way to celebrate, right? I did end up getting reaaaally tipsy (read: world was practically spinning and was thisclose to vomiting), but hey. It’s not every day you get to party like that on your birthday, and for free! HAHA.
